Hello readers! Here I am with a new story of my visit to Mumbai on 9th and 10th Rabiul Aakhar 1435. I just got the email for registration of Ziyarat of Al Hayyul Mukaddas Syedna Mohammad Burhanuddin R.A. I did it on the spot and got the pass. I reached Mumbai on 8th Rabiul Aakhar at 9:00 pm approximately. I went to Qutbi Masjid near Raudat Tahera and spent the night there. In the next morning I got up early at 5:30 am. I had my tea and breakfast on the counter outside the Qutbi Masjid and went for ziyarat.
There was along que as it was Sunday. It took nearly 1 hour to get the chance for ziyarat of Burhanuddin Moula and Taher Saifuddin Maula. The main auspicious task for which I had gone to Mumbai was completed. So I began to try find a place from where I could get the chance for deedar of Syedna Aali Quadar Mufaddal Saifuddin. Luckily I got the chance to sit in front of the bridge between Saifee Masjid and Raudat Tahera from where maula passes for ziyarat.
After waiting for nearly 3 hours maula arrived on the bridge and gave the sharaf of deedar to all the mumeneen. The smiling face of Mufaddal Maula seemed to be like shining sun. After I got the sharaf of deedar I went to Qutbi Masjid where the relay for the khatmul quran majlis was arranged. After that I went to Richardson Cruddas for lunch. Then I came back to Qutbi Masjid and had some rest and in the evening went again for the ziyarat. So that was the end of my first day.
On the second day I wanted to enter the Saifee Masjid but I didn't got the pass. After trying too much I at last gave all my hopes and thought of going to Qutbi Masjid where I can at least view the khatmul quran majlis relay. But that was not my fate. Luckily a man from the nearby shop which was setup as the registration office came to me and started asking me questions about me. Then he asked for my ITS Smart card and gave it to the operator inside the office. Within a minute or two, a man came outside the office with my ITS Smart Card and a pink coloured pass. The card had the gate number G3 so I joined the que for G3. It took about one hour for me to reach inside Saifee Masjid from the que. There I came to know that it was the VIP pass for Taziyat to Mufaddal Maula for Mumbai Jameat. Nearly 12:00 pm Mufaddal Maula arrived in the Saifee Masjid and Khatmul Quran Majlis started. At 1:00 pm Namaaz and after that the Misaq and then came our turn for giving Taziyat to Mufaddal Maula. Within the 15 minutes from our turn to give Taziyat I was in front of Mufaddal Maula and got the sharaf of giving Taziyat to Mufaddal Maula. That's all! My work was finished. In the evening I done ziyarat and returned back to Wankaner.

Except me all my siblings were delivered by a Muslim Midwife (self trained) 75 years back. Shia Muslims lived in better houses than ours across street. 2nd and 4th grade teachers were Sunni Muslims who lived at opposite end of village. Shia Muslim had the best built kept Masjid(Mosque) Sunnis did not have one in the village.
ReplyDeleteCame to here about FGM only in UK. Never heard of it in India untill other day through http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-india-35129466
though have been aware of Sunnat(MGM) always.
Have the inpression that Shia are more in tune with passing time and that is why they are targetted un Pakistan.
It cannot be only Daudi Vohra of Gujarat who practice FGM in India.
Only Muslims can find out and make piblic how this practice started and why it is held on to.
Daudi Vohra have their most advanced University in Surat Al Jamea tus Saifiyah established 201 years back https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Al_Jamea_tus_Saifiyah
